Open Chant Workshops 2010
Saturday 18th September 2010 Plumtree Church, Nottingham A friendly and practical introduction to Chant open to everyone, entertaining, informative and enjoyable. No specialist knowledge or skill is necessary and both singers and the shy of singing are welcome. The day is structured around recreating the mediaeval monastic Hour services in both English and Latin, with working sessions on history and performance through experiencing simple and more complex forms. The day concludes with a simple and delightful Compline. £20 (£10 under-18s) |
